Aug. 2008: Governor Sara Plain of Alaska has just been chosen as the VP to Senator John McCain. Although she seems to have good credentials as an honest politician who takes corrupt officials to task, it is her very independent streak and unconventional style that puts the country in danger in case she does become the President some day.

She is intellectual and quite inventive and also a conceptual person with humanitarian instincts. We didn't have her time of birth but we suspect her ascendant is either Virgo or Leo. Virgo ascendant would put Mars and Saturn together in her 5th house (children) and both squared by Neptune, a nightmare aspect and lot of mental stress due to children. This may point to her son Trig having Down's Syndrome.

Mars in 5th would also account for her outdoor sports, love of hunting as a sport, being the basketball captain at school, and having a float plane as a hobby. Mars Saturn conjunction is a major accident configuration and she always needs to be careful of guns and knives as well as crashes and mishaps on ice (back problems). She had ankle fracture (Mars in Aquarius badly afflicted).

It also indicates major authority conflicts which has been proven by her fights against the establishment. However, Mercury in Aquarius is not an aspect for diplomacy as much as for manipulation. She will listen to everyone but they cannot really change her mind! She does have a talent for social issues but mainly pertaining to women and working mothers.

Mars Neptune square gives addictive tendencies and she did try some weed but luckily her Saturn Neptune aspect made her dislike it. She can be quite obsessive and this aspect also indicates scandals and feelings of betrayal.

By Transit, Neptune is conjuncting her sensitive Mars conjunct Saturn conjunction which enhances her natal addictive tendencies and the "nightmare" configuration in her chart. This will continue till 2012 and will be triggered by transiting Mars touching off her natal Mars Saturn Neptune T-square as early as in Oct.2008, when we can expect some scandalous revelations. She is already being investigated for trying to have a state trooper fired (he was the brother-in-law and her sister was gong through a bitter custody battle. We don;t find her very nurturing or caring for fathers or men in general (both her selfish Venus in Aries and Mercury in Aquarius point to it). There is always a certain amount of shrewdness and aloofness with her Aquarius planets.

She is getting some good aspects from Jupiter which will help her with women but her pro life stance will not help with Hillary Clinton's 18 million voters. Her lack of caring for other people's opinions and being extremely unconventional can be both positive and negative. however, for a President, as we always have to look into that possibility especially with Saturn moving into McCain's 12th house (major health house), this is not a very stable position at all. To undo the damage of the last eight year's of Bush-Cheney legacy and Lieberman's scheming neocon/Lobby politics, the US needs someone like Barak Obama who can deliver a speech which inspires the masses into action.

In its final analysis, if she has Virgo rising or even Leo, and with John McCain chart having similar timing, Saturn going in their 12th house is a time to prepare for his retirement and to take care of his health. On the other hand, both Obama and Biden have Saturn moving up in their chart and Joe Biden has it right on top on his MC, we see the Obama Biden ticket taking over unless the Republicans try to pull a fast one with Iran in Oct.2008.

Oct.2008 is still very dangerous fro Iran with Mars in Scorpio in the sky (Joe Biden has four planets in Scorpio including Mars and will be very confrontational as well) and touching off Obama's Neptune as well. However, this is somewhat offset by Sara Palin's Neptune also getting the same nightmare aspect! Obama has Jupiter trining his Mars which makes him a successful gambler and we do feel that he will win the election. In fact, is he is elected, he will probably be a two term President. Sara Palin is coming into her obscure phase in about three to four years and we don't feel the lucky aspects she has from Jupiter in 2009 are enough to propel he into the highest office in the United Sates of America.

Interestingly, Governor Sara Palin reminds us of Sandra Bullock who was the heroine of the film Miss Congeniality and ironically, she actually won that title in Alaska in the '80s!

Everyone is underestimating Barak Obama's oratory skills. This is not just his ability to speak eloquently, but his force of conviction and optimism of a preacher (his Neptune in 9th and Head Line separate from the Life Line) which makes people look up to him. In the Democratic convention, there were more than 38 million viewers and a crowd of almost 90,000 people which thronged the stadium. In Germany, there were more than 200,000 people who turned out for him! Talk about restoring the image of America. You cannot think of anyone else who has that ability. Obama is like John Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Bill Clinton (Mercury in Leo like Obama) all combined in one person! This does not mean he will be only for peace. In fact, we see failed policies and lot of bloodshed in Afghanistan for oil but still he would be much more humanitarian and his upbringing has assured a more humane and compassionate person with true family values (Venus in Cancer).

We have also predicted a geological revolution around the world from Nov.2008 and emphasis on free energy and grass root organizations. This is inevitable and the only person who has talked about it with a lot of enthusiasm is Barak Obama!
