Pope Benedict is
an Aries with Mercury in Pisces and Venus in Taurus. This is
like being a pioneer and the poet. Aries represents the
beginning of the zodiac while Pisces represents the end. The
pope is extremely spiritual (Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Pisces)
and very scholarly. His faith comes from deep realization of
truth although he is not a very objective person. He is quite
broadminded and philosophical and has great reverence for
anything holy and sacred.
Venus in Taurus makes him very loyal and trustworthy in
friendship and given to old fashioned values in relationship and
sanctity of marriage.
Palmistry: The Pope has the Head Line joined to the Life line
indicating a cautious nature and he is not likely to make any
changes in the Church at all (which is a good think otherwise it
would be a free for all!). He has a very nurturing chart because
the Pisces side (water) gives deep empathy and compassion while
Venus in Taurus (earth) provides the practicality and ability to
do something productive.
With Neptune in Leo, Pope Benedict XVI belongs the Age of the
Golden Movies, and projects a certain charisma which his
generation was known for all around the world.
Unfortunately, Saturn in Leo in 2006 will conjunct his Neptune
and this is a very stressful transit for the heart for all his
age group. Mars will also touch off his Neptune intermittently
from July 2005 till Feb. 2006, indicating a very stressful time
and when he has to be extra careful of his health and infections
including pneumonia.
Luckily, Jupiter sextiles his Neptune and trines his Mars from
end of July till Oct 2005, indicating trips and a protection for
his health.
With Saturn squaring his Sun sign culminating in summer of 2005,
he is in a major new seven year period with a lot of
responsibilities. Saturn trining his Mercury and Jupiter gives
him excellent management skills till end of July to establish
long range plans and delegate authority.
His stressful periods for health are from end of Sep. till mid
Oct. 2005 and late summer of 2006.
