Senator Obama's speech came on the evening of Martin Luther's anniversary and while Moon was in Leo (his Sun Sign). This is rather a destined aspect and with the Moon in such a dramatic sign, no wonder the convention was one of its kind and Obama was totally in his element. Almost 90,000 people watched his speech in the stadium not counting the millions around the natoin who flocked from Times Square to other public plances. His speech was probably one of the most inspiratoinal he has ever given and this of course is his best asset. Although he was quite specific in all the ponts he addressed, his passion and real caring for the masses, his organizational skills, his ability to get the grassroot movement giong and raising millions from ordinary people, these are assets which nobody has been talking about. The best foreign policy is how the leader is percieved abroad and if a crowd of over 200,000 in Germany is any measure of that, certianly that is a big PR coup for any leader.
John McCain's choice of Governor Palin with no experience and a very real possibility of becoming President in case something happens to the 72 year old McCain who has had four bouts of cancer, was nothing short of an irresponsible polital gamble to try to get Hillary voters onboard. Maybe this says something about his feeble judgement and a sure way to get him into obscurity as Saturn is moving down in his health house (12th).
Vice President Selection of Senator Joseph Biden
We think this is an excellent choice as Senator Biden is a very passionate man and one who fights for the underdog. He is a Scorpio with Mercury and Venus and Mars in Scorpio (like Bruce Lee except that Bruce Lee was a Sag Sun sign. He is extremely tenacious and ironically has Sun, Mercury and Venus similar to Senator Hillary Clinton! However, what make her chart difficult was her Saturn also in Scorpio which made her rather dictatorial and prone to morbid depression and rather fatalistic attitude.
Even though Mars in Scorpio within ten degrees to Mercury makes Senator Biden somewhat confrontational and even vindictive to some extent, Obama's Mercury in Leo will give the intelligent leadership ability. Joe Biden probably has very few but close friends and he is a totally dedicated and loyal once he is a friend.
The fact that he said things against Obama but also said that Obama was probably the first clean black candidate is actually quite true. Rev. Jesse jackson and Al Sharpton have both shown themselves to be rather hypocritical and Obama has a lot of moral character which shows through. Both men respect each other's opinion and Senator Obama respects the truth of conviction of Senator Biden even if he finds that he is a bit of a fanatic.
Joe Biden's view on Iraq is questionable especially as he wants to divide it in three segments and his ideas could lead America into war if it weren't for Obama. Senator Biden's challenge will come in late Oct when Mars moves into his 12th house and probably exposes some secret love or other matters hidden from the public.
Although he may be somewhat of an extremist, he has Jupiter trining his Mercury, Sun and Venus which certainly softens it and makes him quite philosophical. His need for power may be a bit difficult in world politics and Obama;s diplomacy will certainly help here.
Update of Election Transits
After making predictions about the Primary, we indicated that Obama will be the presidential nominee and now he is. The next phase i.e. the election 2008 itself will be analyzed shortly. We basically see a landslide for Obama "if" underhanded means are not used by Diebold and others in control of the Senate and voting machines.
Primary North Carolina and Indiana: 6 May 2008: We predict a decisive win for Obama: This has the transits exactly reversed for the two candidates. Hillary has Moon going down whereas Obama has it moving up and training his Jupiter (exactly opposite to Pennsylvania!). This will really propel Obama ahead and in the eyes of the super delegates.
Primaries: Pennsylvania 22 April 2008: We predict a win for Hilary who has Moon moving above the horizon and conjunct her Jupiter (good public response and happiness). Obama has Moon going down the horizon and Mars opp Saturn.
What nobody seems to be talking about in the election are the major differences between Obama and Hillary and McCain. Obama did not vote for Iraq in the first place. This one decision would have saved the USA more than a Trillion dollars and billions of dollars still being spent every month, as well as thousands of innocent lives in Iraq and more than 4000 soldiers. You can put all the programs (health, welfare, education etc.) on one side and they all pale in comparison to the money being spent in Iraq. Hillary also gave a comment of being able to "obliterate Iran with nuclear weapons"! This is not what the masses need and she is only speaking for the "enemies of Iran" and in the interest of the USA. This is not the language of a President but in the same vein as John McCain with his "100 years war"! Obama, on the other hand, would start the dialog with Iran, who is well within their right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes (within their right of the Treaty) instead of threatening them with nuclear bombs like Hillary.
McCain is no different in his war rhetoric. Do these words sound very Presidential or diplomatic and is this what the world needs now? Changing the lyrics on a Beach Boys song, Senator McCain made them "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran." Incidentally, McCain was the one who authored the congressional act that gave Bush the power to invade Iraq in the first place.
There is no comparison between the inspirational ideals of Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton. her chart is like a terrorist or freedom fighter depending on whose side you are on, extremely radical and one sided. Obama, has intelligent leadership abilities and will reach out to everyone for a consensus and compromise on major issues.
Obama is not financed by oil or drug companies like McCain or Hillary, which is another extremely important point. We know where media bias is and why but Pluto in Capricorn is turning the tables and will undermine the whole big government old structure completely and transform politics forever. This is not the time for old folks anymore and the young generation is going to start making a huge difference and mostly because of Obama.
Detailed Analysis
Here is the chart of one of the most inspirational reformers we have seen in a long time. Barak Obama is a perfect combination of JFK and Martin Luther King in terms of his ideals and oratory skills except that he is much more sensitive and nurturing than either JFK or MLK. His best asset is his intelligent leadership qualities and his ability to delegate work to others, give credit where it is deserved, and look for areas which bring people together instead of dividing them.
Hillary's biggest challenge, as we had mentioned several years ago, is to get a good team together as she is too controlling and finds it difficult to trust anyone. In Obama's case, he is great at selecting the right team members and has more trust in them in carrying out their duties. Without interfering in their work, he allows them to do their best for goal which he defines in much broader terms, leaving the nit picky details to others.
Jupiter (communication) opp to Mercury in Leo is the hallmark of a born orator and a great preacher (Jupiter gives the philosophical outlook). Having Neptune in his 9th house, he feels very close to places of worship which bring the beggar and the king together, and Leo in the 9th also shows that he will be famous for his inspirational speeches.
Venus in the 5th in Cancer will help him in raising the money for his passions. He is an excellent father and will become involved with the welfare of the children around the world. Venus trine to Neptune makes him very romantic and gives him a seductive aura.
Mars trines to Saturn gives him a lot of stamina and endurance and Mars trine Jupiter gives him sudden bursts of energy and the ability to take chances in life.
Palmistry: Obama is left handed (Mercury opp Saturn) which makes him more methodical and also gives him some discipline as well. Both Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton have a Mercury Jupiter aspect which gives them a philosophical bent but she is more quietly persuasive than having the oratory charm of Obama or her husband Bill Clinton.

What are his Chances of the U.S. Presidency? Saturn in the 7th house is a very strong indication of power and authority and when most leaders begin their climb to power. He will most likely be a two term president unless there are some major upheavals or accidents (most of the danger finishes by end of 2009). This also indicates that he will have excellent public response. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has Saturn also starting to move up but just below his Saturn and will not have as much support. She also has Saturn opposoing her Moon later on in the summer of 2008 and will most likely lose the nomination by then.
Obama does have Saturn squaring his Moon but only till about summer. This is a rather depleting transit and ages people but will also make him emotionally tough. It often coincides with some sadness, setbacks in the family and events which generally pull you down. Late this year till next summer is a dangerous period for him as Saturn conjuncts his Mars and Uranus opposes it. This aspects often coincides with authority conflicts and Mars-Uranus is a classic aspect of freak accidents and guns etc. but it may even be the sign that he is winning the Presidency and facing a lot of prejudice etc.

Unless the election is stolen by the McCain backers, Obama is the clear winner here. Unfortunately we don't know his time of birth but his policies are exactly opposite to what we have predicted for the world. Almost ten years ago, we predicted that the troops will b back or to start withdrawing after Nov. 2008 and that is exactly what Obama's timing seems to coincide with. McCain has a very dangerous streak about him and being a prisoner of war for five years certainly does not give a winner's attitude but may have added to his dangerous stance of wanting to increase the tension in the Middle East. Lieberman supporting him is another red herring as he is the one who originally started the bill to allow the President to go to war with Iraq and is now trying to do hi sbest to do the same with Iran!
The most important thing that Barak Obama brings to the US election is his energy, his appeal to the youth instead of just senior citizens, his far reaching goals, and even his childhood which has given him tremendous amount of empathy and compassion. America is treated with scorn everywhere in the world and Obama is probably one of the very few politicians who could change that view by doing exactly what he says..
